K I figure if I say this it may help.......I don't really feel like blogging much!!!

There its said :/

Its not a 'I am going to stop blogging'.....far from it......and its not 'other stuff is more important'......not at all my blog and this virtual community and my 'friends' are hugely important to me....

....its just.....its just I don't feel I have a lot to say at the mo and I really do have less time, even though I am not really any busier.....so I don't really know why....all I know is I don't sit in front of my puter enough these days and when I do I am so full of catching up I don't get to actually enjoy it....catching up on blog entries, on reads, on VoicesNet, on emails and on general reading and stuff.....

....now I've said it I think I know what's up......I am lazy....well not lazy as such but I am not very good at utilising my time....I let a lot of time drift in daydreams and fiddling and idling and....you know when you were a kid and you were supposed to revise for exams so you'd make a revision timetable so it felt you were doing something but actually you weren't.....well my life is a bit like that....I constantly have things I should do or want to do and then think about doing them rather than getting on with them.......

....some people seem so organised, seem so motivated, seem to do so much....I don't think I do....I think I have no discernable talent.....I have lots of ideas and never pursue them.....I am a jack of all trades and very much a master of none........and hey this is not being hard on myself because actually I think I am pretty happy like that....and I'm certainly not upset or depressed....I just put off things and I wish I could actually drive myself not to.....because I would like more quality time......I have quality time - I have the best of times I really do.....but I sometimes wish I had free time.....

D'oh! as ever I fail to make a good point clearly enough - rofl - more wine I say!!!!!

Some oddbits of news - things I am missing......

Spoke to the girls tonight and they are fine - I am going up there on 17th May just for the day. A is cool about them coming down for weekends in term time so instead of it being every couple of months with me going up in between they can come down YAY :) B has entered the 'three bridge race' around the town - its a mile and a half and she ahd the 'qualifying heats' and she came 5th!! Cool. K is well and sounds quite happy in general - as much as I'd rather see them we do have really long chats - B issounding so grown up and is all about ehr friends and doing stuff and the latest boy she fancies, K is equally chatty and normally gets a book or a game out to read/do over the phone!!!!! Miss them huge but have decided to utilise the webspace I get as aprt of my NTL ADSL package to set up a little news website for them :)

I'm still tired from the weekend but also happy - it was ace to see people again - and just lovely to spend time with Ariel - this is one of the easiest things in the world to do - not just because we know each toher well or enjoy the smae things - but because it just is - life is for living, happiness is a way to travel, sadness when necessary are tinged with all the good things we shoudl be grateful for.....and mostly - if you are happy then she is happy - she really is the most selfless person I know - and not through choice or self sacrifice - but because she is, she can't help it. I miss her loads already.

I miss my hubcaps - some B**##!** nicked them tiday - parking at work is a nightmare - you get boxed in really easily so we have some carpark passes for the local multi-storey one but its not so safe - lucky its a company car so it doesn't 'matter' but it makes it look a bit crap now :/

And I missed D. loads over the weekend - but in some ways that's a good thing :)

I miss writing poetry - just don't seem to have that much time these days....I hyave the motivation kind of but not the inspiration........but mostly its time..............

I am shattered - I've had an ace weekend but 'excess' is possibly the word best to describe it!!!!!

It was so good to see my best mate Ariel again, chatting on the net and the phone is cool but there's nothing like having 2 or 3 days to catch up at leisure......tho funnily we didn't do a huge amount of chatting about life and love and music and stuff, mostly it was all really chilled sitting around playing on the 'net, and her X-Box and the guitar (not me!!!) and stuff.

It was ace to meet her boyf TigerMaple and see her happy, ace to laugh lots....really liked Tiger's sense of humour - very sharp and edgy lol - feel kind of inspired to try the guitar after hearing Ariel play so well after only a few weeks and Tiger play hugely well.......it'd be so great to just pick it up and play a song like he can!!!!!

After the fun of Friday, Saturday was even more so, really really good to meet some of the people who I used to work with out there....the meal was gorgeous then we just hung in the restaurant chatting and drinking and laughing.....I think T who's birthday it was had an ace time too which is all you can ask for really :)

Sunday was definitely a day to recover, the sun was shining and I got up about 11 and chilled waiting for Ariel to awake when the doorbell rang......my hungover brain was working way to slowly as I answered it and vague memories that Ripsaw was coming round with Jnr, his son.......it seemed like I just stared for ages and ages until he introduced himself - tho I did realise straight away it was just my brain was too slow at making my mouth work!!!! Anyhow Jnr was not bothered and waltzed in and let us entertain him all afternoon (I think it was that way round) as we also in turn sat outside or in the house chatting. I know Rip from his site and a bit of when Ariel has spoken of him but it was ace to meet him and put a face and voice to the name :D

Once Rip and Jnr had left we chilled some more and then watched the awesome Stigmata and ate chinese. Stigmata is a kind of horror/power of religion/faith type thing, very creepy, visually stunning and tightly shot and acted with a stonking soundtrack - I hugely enjoyed it and I even had a creepy 'no caller id' phone call where no one spoke at the other end....twice!!!!....to add to the atmosphere :)

The wonderful weather on Sunday did not materialise today so we did more X-Box (I kinda hogged it - but then I don't have a games console because I know I would just get addicted!!!) and music and stuff until lunchtime then had a huge pub dinner and a coffee until I had to get the plain.

I have had an ace April - all things to everyone - I had the girls down to stay, then a lovely romantic weekend in Copenhagen and then a 'me' weekend with my best mate and her mates and my mates and lots of lovely fun-lazy-chilled things...........

Hmmm I somehow feel this doesn't express and convey half of what I want it to and what it all means - I think that's still the hangover lol - but I guess those that know me well know it means a huge amount and touches on many things that are important in my life and how I want to live it........

I can't believe I am in theIsle of Man!

YAY ITs been feckin' ages - Ariel rushed out for a hug when I pulled up and it felt like it was last week - we chilled briefly with her boyf Ben and then hit the town - we met up with some people I used to work with in the pub we used to hang in and it was ace, just ace. We got seperated later and I was struggling to remember her address (all I could think of was the name Pussers as in Pusser's navy rum which we had had an obligatory shot of earlier and is yummy) but then it came to me and I got home about 4am and they were still up eating chips - cool!!!

Plan today is to get a birthday pressie and maybe a new pair of trousers and then head back to chill before the party.

My liver is a bit worried about this weekend but the rest of me is hugely happy :D

I'm knackered from drive up and down motorways for three days - I could have stayed up there but wanted to come home Tuesday as I had been away all weekend - sometimes when I have been away I just like to hang in the flat for a few days after :)

Yesterday I came back down to see D. - so not quite as far and well woirth the drive.....we just ate and chilled and talked and stuff :)

And so for the third weekend on the trot I am hugely excited.....this time i am going to the Isle of Man to see both Ariel and some of my friends from when I wroked over there - I am SO feckin' excited......one of them has just rang for a quick chat so am really really excited all over again!!!!

Also had an invite from my friend Niki for a murder mystery evening at the end of May :) Its all themed and fancy dress and with a murder to solve over dinner.....I've done one before and theya re ace fun :)

K I need to pack :)

Too little time - nipped home 200 miles from working away just to catch up on some stuff - I'm still reading out there - sorry am not commenting - hope you all had a great Easter and *thoughts* for all that lays before us :)

Can I just say I have a howge blister on my left foot from walking around Copenhagen - lol :/

Travelling Happily

I had kind of forgotten the pleasure of travelling and exploring a new place.......I'm so glad I did this with D., so glad we got to share a lovely Easter weekend in a foreign capital wandering the streets, seeing the sights, exploring the food and the culture and the hotel room (heh).......

.....we left on Friday, early, 7am early in fact tho as is the way with flying and time zones we didn't land until a little after two....a short hop by train (stops to marvel at just how clean and easy and comfortable train travel can be) and we emerged onto the street next to Copenhagen's main train station, just across from Tivoli Gardens (more on that later) and five minutes walk across Radusen Plads (plads = square, but so does Torv) to the Hotel Palace - a five star turn of the century hotel who rather excellently upgraded us to an 'ambassador suite overlooking the square - Huge YAY!!!!!!
- the room was ace with a little balcony, cool bathroom, two bigger than single yet not quite double beds (to ensure optimum closeness and comfort when squeezed together) and all the bits and pieces that make hotel rooms so ace (a little shoe polish pot, shower gel.....huge mirrors.....heh).

We chilled a bit then went for a walk into Stroget the main (and the world longest pedestrian) shopping street.....stumbling across wonderful buildings, scenic squares with fountains and statues and little walkways to more of the same......we stopped at a cafe....spent 20 minutes waiting for the waiter translating the menu before realising that we went up to order - our translation of sandwich with meat or cheese and a choice of salad toppings was close - we had a large slab of bread, split, with choice of meat and cheese and help your self salad (kind of a theme to 'lunchtime; eating we soon discovered).....suitably full we wandered some more and found Kongens Have (Have = garden) and the beautiful Rosenborg Slot (Slot = palace) - giggles at the idea of entering Slotshaven ;) before wandering back to the hotel (giggling some more at a shop seeming to sell Boghandels before realising bog = book, handel = shop!!!!!) through more pretty streets. This all took longer than expected so we chilled and went out for a drink and to decide if we were actually hungry after the monster-sandwich.....and found the ace Peder Oxe and drank beer and JD and coke and enjoyed the cool atmosphere (and a little more meet and cheese and bread......).

Saturday dawned bright and sunny with a slightly chilly wind when we were not out of the breeze in the streets and we hit the Lonely Planet's walking tour path (Lonely Planet is for me THE guidebook to use where ever one travels), primarily heading for The Little Mermaid we took in a few sites along the way until D. decided I was becoming a little too obsessed by 'the route' and we meandered off towards the beautiful Vor Frelsers Kirke (Kirke = church) which was beautiful and the tower is gold and black and sparkled in the sun (tho was a tad dizzying when trying to climbing out onto the spire - your head starts at the floor and you have to launch your self up through a hatch towards a metal barred fence and the angles make it look like your are throwing yourself straight off the side!!!!!).....that done we took kaffen (coffee) on a canal and then explored the Freetown of Christiania - its kind of an 'outside the law' squatters settlement on an old military barracks - if I said you can't take photos on the main drag, Pusher Street which is aptly named you may get the idea of what is on sale there....that said they practice recycling and have a 'self governed' no hard drugs policy - I am not too sure how it works exactly and therefore how 'free' it really is, it is controversial and is tolerated by Copenhagen government and local public at best, but that said it was a chilled and even pretty place to check out.....tho we thought we'd feel most like 'tourists' here its actually got a market kind of geared towards it so it was ok.......

From there we took in Amaliehaven and the royal palace and the stunning (think St Paul's ish) Marmorkirken (this link has one of those 360 degree IPIX photos - go here for more) until we finally found Her.

Knackered by then we took the train home as we were doing Tivoli that night - what to say about Tivoli - it wasn't quite what we expected but was totally ace - we had expected a large park with a few amusements at one end - in fact it is almost entirely an amusement park -more of a fair ground in terms of rides tho it had an excellent roller coaster or two, a 'romantic' balloon style ferrous wheel and an AWESOME 150' lift you slowly drop you quick...er...tower!!!!! Plus loads of restaurants (we ate there overlooking the lake) and shows (free outdoor ones and 'full' production indoor theatres)......at night it is lit up with thousands of lights and there are one or two areas to wander romantically and away from the bustle of the rides.....it was a lovely evening and topped off at midnight with a totally cool fireworks display :D

So to bed late but still up for 9 on Sunday for a more leisurely explore of some specific sites including the national museum which was high on artifacts but a tad too low on information - hugely enjoyed the Eskimo lifestyle section tho.....we were both a little leg weary by this stage so we took an afternoon 'nap' before venturing for another short stroll to the Rundetarn with excellent views and instead of steps and indoor spiraled cobbled path (cool) and the Museum of Erotica (heh tho somehow the exhibits of Indian erotic art and Victorian 'gentleman's relish' were more erotic than the modern day 'extreme porn room full of porn mags of fisting and golden showers - ugh!) - somehow just cannot imagine this working here without it seeming 'tacky' (which it was but appropriately tacky lol ...and it was mainly couples walking around!!!!!!

We went back to Peder Oxe for a lovely romantic meal where D. and I laid plans I will talk of soon....first having a beer downstairs and chatting to the English landlord (who introduced himself by asking where we were from in an English accent I was so surprised by I said 'England'.....turns out he used to live 5 miles away from me and worked in Slough for a time!!!!). I (we) hugely enjoyed that evening, different to Tivoli in setting but equally lovely,

We didn't have to leave for the airport until 5 on Monday nor check out the hotel until midday so we chilled all morning in the room and then just strolled around stopping for ice cream and coffee in the main squares and actually got to eat proper Danish open topped sandwiches - Smorresbrod - yum!

Copenhagen is a cool capital, very pretty, very easy to get around and chill out in and just to let it flow over you....we walked around mostly tho the public transport is easy....and we were blessed with beautiful sunny days.......its one of my fave European cities I have seen so far but so soon it ended.....D. says it was her best ever Easter which I wholeheartedly agree with....and her best holiday...well I have been to some pretty cool places so have had other 'holidays' I have enjoyed and experiences that have been the best at the time but I have never spent such a romantic and chilled and fun and laughing and easy and sexy and just simply lovely time travelling with anyone else nor anywhere else.......I know D. and I get on, I know we have similar tastes and likes and enjoy spending our time in similar ways although importantly from slightly different angles!!! But not only wouldn't I have wanted to share it with anyone else.....I can't imagine anyone else who I could share it so perfectly with :)

Got in about 10 last night - we had a wonderful time - Copenhagen is very pretty, very relaxed, very cool - we had an ace time just wandering the streets, chilling in the parks and squres, seeing some museums and eating lots of meat and cheese sandwiches heh :)

More detailed update in time - I am off to Birmingham for work now :(

Gone to eat open topped sandwiches and see a little mermaid - Happy Easter everyone :)

How did life suddenly get busy!!!

So am just off to D.'s, then to Birmingham for work tomorrow, then to D.'s again, then home, then Copenhagen (YAY) and then Birmingham next week till Thursday and then Isle of Man until Monday - I must be getting old all I am worried about is when I am going to do some washing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say won't be around that much!

I don't think I wrtie that much these days, Ariel, suggests differently - hmmmm me's still not sure but she has a fine poem section, skip mine (old hat) read some very fine verse there tho......meanwhile......

All Your Dreams

Don’t think
Don’t wish
Don’t hope

All your dreams
Lay about you now
And you’ll get through this
Sometime, somehow

Don’t worry
Don’t forsake
Don’t pretend

All your dreams
Lay about you here
And you’ll get through this
No pain, no fear

Don’t remember
Don’t imagine
Don’t surrender

All your dreams
Lay about your feet
And you’ll get through this
Feel this heart, and its beat

I've been chatting to Ariel most of tonight (3 hours and 9 minutes according to the moby!!!) - have I mentioned she's ace - she's beautiful and talented and artistic and just lovely - I'm so lucky to have a friend like this :))

In other news - me and D. are going to Copenhagen this weekend - double YAY - am so excited to be travelling and exploring as I haven't done this for a couple of years now (!!!!) - but mostly am excited because I am doing it with D. and I think we're going to have the acest, romanticist, loveliest, excitingest time ever :))

Miss the girls badly but am trying to remain upbeat - this is routin now just got to get on with it!!!!

Love For A Child

I sat apart but not distant
In fact physically close
The feel of you near
But in my mind I withdrew
As I watched you
Your hair falling down
About your angel face
Intent in play and smiling
I was awash with love
Full to brimming
And I simply savoured
Until the dam burst
And I let it show
In a simple hug
Touch expressing
More than you know now
Less than I can ever say
Yet somehow it is enough

And all too briefly they have gone again - just the missing thing to do now till I see them next (some time in May hopefully and definitely end June for two weeks).

We had an ace time - Following on from Friday we went to see the S Club movie which was surprisingly better - if anyone has seen the TV programmes they'll know the acting isn't so hot but it was pretty good in this movie - I think the difference is that in the film they are being much more themselves - Hanna was the best (heh). When we had got up Kate went hunting for her pressies which I had hidden around the flat and prepared a list of 'cryptic' questions - she loved the ello-opolis which is pretty cool actually :)

Saturday we went up to the London Transport Museum on Saturday which was cool - its very interesting, well laid out and quite children oriented - the girls had a great time - and of course they met the lovely D. which was really cool - at lunch she gave them some little gift bags with makeup and Easter eggs which was cool - we went back to the museum after lunch to make Easter Cards in the art room there :)

Saturday evening is Pizza Night so I got them in and we vegged out in front of telly - D. had her hair brushed and platted by the girls - heh - it was good to see them all get on so well - I never had any doubts at all but nevertheless its a different side to me she was seeing and one I want her to feel comfortable with and that she can share with as much as she wants - I don't want her to feel its me and the girls with her tagging along .....

today we went to Mum and dad's for more pressies and Sunday lunch with my sis and her boyf :) They flew at 5.45 so we left at 4ish and got to the airport an hour before and played I Spy till the staff came to take them through. Bryony was ok as we said goodbye but Kate cried a little as we said good bye but I think she'd have been ok on the flight :/

feel kind of strange - we had such a normal time yet also there were subtle differences - I don't really know their friends they talk of, can't really work out what's happening at school other than it seems to be ok and a few other little things like what they're into eating and stuff....oh I dunno really trying to be happy that we had such an ace time rather than any negative stuff........

Friday, April 11, 2003

I should be in bed....I really should I don't want to be tired for the girls....but I hid Kate's birthday presents and wrote a guesthe place list in bright colours for her tomorrow and I have this great big smile on my face and wanted to relish it a bit.....can't wait for tomorrow now :)

Thursday, April 10, 2003

Its every bit as lovely as it has always been to put the girls to sleep here :)

A lovely day - tho spent largely trying to be normal and not think about how having them here just makes the 'missing' that much harder :/ Anyhooo all that stuff can wait till after they are gone - am just gonna enjoy for now :)

They arrived at 10.30 a few minutes late and they came out of the arrivals and we ran to hug (they had flown down as unaccompanied minors) - lots of chat about flight and stuff as we drove to Mum and Dad's for lunch - afterwards Katherine looked through Dad's stamp collection for nearly an hour - I know Dad will have hugely enjoyed this shared time together and a chance to show something new to Kate :))

We left there at 3.30 and came back for a hurried tea and then to the theatre. The play, Double Act was about twins and the adjustment as they hit 'teens' (actual age unspecified) and have to cope with the fact that whilst they are soooo alike they are also quite different and need to reach out and grasp their own identities. Its set against the backdrop of their mum having died a few years before and them all moving to country with dad's new GF to start a new life opening a country bookshop. Its the 'typical' kind of setting that Jaqueline Wilson handles so well and the messages apply to any siblings and any family unit. It was well acted, funny and entertaining with interspersed dancing to today's tunes (Avril Levigne, Busted et al) - the girls loved ti so was hugely chuffed.....s'funny that if I hadn't met Vi a few weeks back I would never have known it existed!!!!

Will seriously consider returning to the Polka Theatre - its hugely well run and set up :)

Tomorrow we're going to see Seeing Double - the S Club movie.....of course only cause the girls do, I prolly won't really enjoy it ;)

YAY holiday - YAY girls are coming tomorrow - oh yeah oh yeah la la la la lalaaaaaa :D

The flat's tidied, the girl's room has been turned back into a bedroom rather than my expansive walk in wardrobe - rofl ;)

they land at 10.05 - its about 50 miles away in Southampton so will leave early and make sure I miss as much of the morning rush hour as possible :)

Lots planned - Katherine's birthday and Easter (got the eggs mmmmmmm) - the theatre - a day trip and prolly swimming and seeing parents and of course D. is meeting us on saturday for the day trip - YAY :)

Just seen my latest Guestbook entry

i am so inspired by your website... i enjoyed reading and looking at it. gosh that's kind of them.....they went on....

can you check my site out? i'd appreciate if the people who are reading this can check it as well. thanks for your time, and keep up the good work!I ....well ok not entirely selfless Guestbook Entry (as I believe Guestbook entries should be) but fair enough I guess....they continued......

have visited your website and really think that so useful site which could be informed all over. You did a great job on your web page; i was searching such as pretty site. just keep your great website... K well yet again very kind tho perhaps a little over-egging the point......ahhhh and then of course the catch.....

and also these websites too are so useful websites.....add links to hotel pages !!!!!!!!!!! WTF - I'm gonna clean out my guestbook of this crap tonight - why do people thinks that's reasonable - I pay for my webspace (OK maybe not the guestbook as such but......) if I wanted to advertise people's sites I'd link them GRRRRR :/

Sorted out the text size - YAY! Don't know how it changed....may have to ask if D. has been playing with it - rofl ;)

*edit* Apparently its because I had too many Temporary Internet Files!! you learn somehting new every day heh ;) *edit ends*

Monday, April 07, 2003

Caught up on my reads tho a lot of comments seem to be down at the mo :(

When I open blogger the text is appearing much smaller than usual - and the menu items - options, upload file, spell check etc all seem much smaller text?? Don't know why I haven't chnaged screen res or anything? Have the same problem on voicesNet which is almost unreadeable......

Oh and have asked this before but I cannot 'view source' from IE....it used to come up with the code in Notepad but no longer does? Why??

Oooooh #2 - and some photos from bowling - heh :)

See what I mean about the Clint Eastwood thang - rofl ;)

Ooooh and cool stuff on 'net.....

I think I prefer SkyNews to the BBC for broadband content - tho still go immediately to the Beeb for Sport coverage.

I'm going to draw a Rubbish Monkey just like Jarvis did ;)

I've seen both MSN and BT offer 'cutprice' legal music download sites recently - on the face of it they seem like quite good ideas and quite economic - 'cept that's only true if you stick to the .wav formats which means it has to stay on the PC and use Windows Media Player (Yuk!!) - now if it were offering 'economical' MP3's I reckon it may just solve the whole 'napster-esque' when is downloading music really legal debate - lol - this all just seems a rehash of the 'why are CDs so darned expensive' argument - a little less greed and a little more recognition of the fan base may not go amiss - heh :)

Wikipedia is one of those awesome examples of just how cool and great the web can be - its an on-line encyclopedia that you can actually contribute too! "A vast information resource written by and for web users.....you can add to entries, diverge and link back to entries - or start your own topic - very cool :)

Apparently Amazon offered HP Ipaq's for £8 instead of £287 the other day and had to take their site off-line - some lucky people got acceptance emails but Amazon apparently are declining to honour them....should make for interesting developments - I thought this had been proven in court already - that the price must be honoured as advertised if a sale is confirmed.......

Apparently #2 if you type 'site:website.com' (replacing website.com with a particular site, eg bbc.co.uk) after your Google search it allows you to search website through Google (I guess provided that page is in Google...er...archives? somewhere??) - often simpler and better than using a site's search engine.....oh and for a laugh dig deep and think of an old post and try it with your website....it may well be there.....eg this "happiness is a way to travel + site:www.brandnewstart.net" gave loads of links to little old me - heh :)

Y'know there are people out there giggling right now about me chuntering on about 'puters like this - lol :)

I have no particular reason for not posting much for ages - I just didn't :/

So the weekend was another quietish one.....D and I did some gardening on Saturday - I have decided to go for the low maintenance option on maintaining a garden whose borders are overrun with brambles and just cut them back all the time - lol - I now have scratches all over my arms but it looks better - I have no real love for gardening really - I like doing 'projects' and in my time have laid paths and patios and assembled pergola's etc - but cannot be doing with plants and mowing and weeding and stuff - I just have to keep the garden 'managed' as part of the lease.

We watched Donnie Darko on Saturday which was ace - weird and confusing and freaky and perplexing - but ace - its one of those films one can be in danger of reading way too much into and also spending hours trying to work out the plot before going 'but that doesn't work because of x,y and z' lol!! :)

Apart from that a quiet and chilled kinda time. Something D. mentioned made me think of The Bridge Across Forever but more of that later ;)

I get the girls on Thursday - double YAY! Have missed them less the last week or so - I think because I know they are going to be here soon - if that makes any sense lol!!!! I have to somehow fit doing lots with Katherine's birthday (its the following week) and Easter and also D. is going to meet them on Saturday - heh - we talked about it this weekend I would have suggested it sooner but what with them going away and stuff it just didn't work out.....D.'s quite nervous but I know it will be totally fine - we're going to go to the London Transport Museum :)

Big weird dream time again - me and d. were at a hous party - abig 5 storey house - the girls were with me - but asleep - there were people from wok and uni - lots of drugs were being done - all sorts - lot of broken images of things - being outside in a car, walking up a hill, palying silly games - all a sense of a weird party and being a teenager - with lots happening but all not quite remembered - remmeber being not wholly happy - we went off to crash another persons house but he was miffed because someone had got off with the girl he was keen on and we were doing drugs again - suddenly it was 7am!!! and I had to put Bryony (who somehow was up by then) to bed but 'cept it wasn't Bryony it was some other boy off one of the soaps and as we climbed the stairs it was dark and he was scared then this old lady (I seem to remmeber her bing scary earlier in the dream but cannot place it) jumped out behind us and grabbed me by my testicles and it hurt - she was gonna kill us and I woke up shouting out help. Weird!!!!

Where does the time go!!!

Been out to ten pin bowling this evening with work mates which was fun - it was a cowboy evening so I dusted off my Akubra and my Drizabone and had a bit of a Clint Eastwood thing going on - rofl ;)

Works been ok -feeling a bit more involved again now - back in my old role within Engineering and am quite happy.

D. is feeling better YAY - looking forward to the weekend alhtough I do have to work Saturday afternoon :(

And that really is about it - life's quiet and chilled at the mo which is just how I like it - got a busy month ahead - the girls will be here in one week's time - I can barely wait, the going to copenhagen with D. for Easter and then Isle of Man to see Ariel and for a mate's birthday. Looking forward to it all hugely.
