Happy New Year!!

Christmas has been ace....work was pretty hectic upto about 2pm on Christmas Eve but then I got home in time to finalise things (like pressie wrapping). christmas morning me and D. did the pressie thing, I got a cool top, Return of the King DVD (extended!) some cufflinks and nice moisturising cream to help keep my aging skin soft ;-) I got D a totally cool NEXiA MP3 player although the flash card hadn't come in time so had to do an emergency shop on Christmas Eve, a new outfit and some bits and pieces. We has smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for brekkie and then headed off to her folks for a yummy Christmas lunch and chillled afternoon. Next stop we headed down to my sisters and spent the evening there, I got Dad a really nice picture frame and printed off a couple of photos of him and mum which he loved and D. had made some sweet chillie sauce and some runner bean chutney as presents for everyone - the chillie sauce rocks :o)

We had a chilled Boxing Day as D is working most days over Christmas except for Wednesday and Thursday when we drove up to Scotland to see the girls and give them their pressies. We spent Thursday in Edinburgh which was pretty cool and looked well set up for News Years Eve with an outdoor ice rink and fun fair rides a plenty.

Last night D.'s bro and girlf came round and we made a meal and played Cranium. and now the washing up has been done and they've left I inted to totally chill. Will probably do a little work Sunday and Monday as catch up for all hell breaking loose on Tuesday!!

Trust y'all had as ace a time as we did.
